I recently became single again, which means my dream of starting a family will continue to be…well, just a dream. *Sad face*
But that doesn’t mean I can’t ooh and ahh over other people’s kids in the meantime!
I recently attended a holiday party where I spent the majority of my time covered in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle stickers and playing Bubblegum Bubblegum, In a Dish.
You remember AJ, the little cutie pie I obsessed over at my cousin’s wedding back in 2011? This little guy?
He’s now FIVE years old! And his little brother Braden, who was just a little blob-of-baby-in-a-basket at the time, is now walking and talking and has grown taller than his big brother already!
Their mom Jeanette tells me AJ is the spotlight-seeking Leo while Braden is the serious, independent Scorpio. I’m not a huge believer in astrology, but if their behaviors that night were any indication, their astrological descriptors are spot-on.
While Braden was perfectly content to color in his new coloring book with or without interacting with anyone else, AJ came around making sure everyone paid attention to him in his light-up Batman sneakers, insisting on never-ending rounds of Bubblegum Bubblegum.
Ohhh, the cuteness!
